Vivian Cheng is a 23-year-old Chinese Canadian illustrator. In addition to learning Cantonese, she uses art to reconnect with her culture. She is currently writing a picture book that explores reconciling personal identity with heritage as a child of Chinese immigrants. Vivian is passionate about the marriage of narrative and illustration to tell stories, often creating funny and/or heartfelt comics.
